- Who are you and when and why did you start to collect Lady Lovelylocks items?
- Do you remember the first LLL items() you had? Do you still have it/them?
– I’m Eva also know as Mira online and elsewhere. I live in Sweden and I started collecting LLL items because I really like the magical fantasy world of the LLL kingdom, and of course the pixietails are so cute 🙂
– I remember I got most dolls from the first series, the bedroom set and the horse when I was little. I still have at least one photo of that, and I was really happy in that photo, ohyes 😀 Sadly I don’t have any of the items I got from then anymore, I’m not sure if my siblings managed to break them, or if I simply forgot about them after a while.
- What kind of LLL items do you collect?
– I collect mostly puzzles and things that can have nice illustrations on them, since they are especially suitable to scan and edit into desktop images/wallpapers for others to also enjoy. Books and comics are so much fun to read through every now and then too, just because!
- Who is/are your favourite character(s) and why?
– I’ve always liked Duchess RavenWaves, because she is the “evil” yet stylish one, her fashions are really different from the rest. Maiden GoldenWaves always seemed like a cool gal as well, and her seahorse pixietails are adorable.
- What is your favourite kind of LLL item/items in your collection and why?
– The puzzle with an illustration of Lady Lovelylocks, Maiden Fairhair, Maiden Curlycrown and maiden Goldenwaves enjoying themselves on the Enchanted Island, it looks so nice. I’m still trying to fill out the background on the scan I did, so the finished wallpaper will look more complete.
- Is there a LLL item/items you gave away or had to sell etc, that you regret giving away/selling? Is there an LLL item that you consider your best deal/most unique and rare one so far?
– Ohyes, I at one point had a MIB Duchess RavenWaves that I sold away. And now it’s very hard to find MIB ones, and they can be very expensive 🙁 And I at another point had MIB Maiden GoldenWaves that I opened, when my daughter was little.. and I must have sold her off too.
– As for my most unique item, I think it was on eBay, for some years ago, that I managed to get ahold of a LP vinyl album! That supposedly featured a French singer, Saki, who sang LLL songs. I haven’t been able to listen to it, and try to record what is on it, but maybe some day soon.. with the help of the right the technology and tech savvy friends.
- What LLL item/items do you have in your collection that took the longest time to hunt down? What LLL items are you still looking for?
– I still don’t have aaaall LLL puzzles that were produced..
- If you could decide new LLL relases, what kind of item would you want to see and why?
– Hmm, maybe a new doll, new fashions (especially for the Duchess, in her colours), new playsets like Duchess RavenWaves’ castle, and naturally a new location with new friends for the characters to explore!
- Do you prefer to buy or trade items? Where do you find items? Online or IRL?
– I prefer to buy items online, since I don’t have that many extra copies of non-puzzle items in my collection. And so far I haven’t encountered anyone else that also likes to gather puzzles that wants to do trades, but who knows, maybe I’ll find someone eventually. It’d be ideal if I could trade puzzles I have many copies of, for puzzles I don’t have in a very good condition or not at all!
